Making Chancery Script Font for Sale on Creative Market from Zero. Letter ‘y’

Letter ‘y’ can be rendered either from ‘f’ and ‘u’ elements or from ‘v’ and its original descender. I made 4 versions of it and right now I can’t say which one I’ll use as my core ‘y’. There should be just right amount of sameness and personality in the final product. If all of the letters are too much alike, having very little variation in angles, hooks, descenders/ascenders, it will look monotonous. If everything is different and each letter is unique, then it’s no longer stylistically integral system. So you see, it’s all about balance and testing. But right now, I am just creating an array of solidly connected letterforms to choose from.
